The last couple of years IMYA (Intermountain Young Adults) has hosted an online Fuller live training via district NYI to network and equip leaders in the district who are in ministry with young adults.
Kenny Wade is our district Young Adult Coordinator (IMYA) and has been in discussion with Fuller Youth Institute reps to curate a workshop/discussion/training for our leaders of young adults.
Tuesday, May 14, 2024, IMYA will be hosting a 1/2 day training from 9 am-2 pm for anyone who is a ministry leader (paid/volunteer) with young adults (18-29ish;).
This in-person event will be hosted at Mountain Home Church of the Nazarene and led by a Fuller Youth Institute facilitator (online). The training will build on the previous two years of the Young Adult Ministry NOW e-book strategies. Breakfast-type snacks/drinks and lunch are included.
If you are the main leader with young adults at your church and are unable to attend consider sending someone in your place to be a part of the training. Maybe even carpool as a zone/mission area and discuss your local young adult ministry efforts along the way:)
We are looking forward to a great time of networking, equipping, prayer, encouragement, ideation, and strategizing together as leaders WITH young adults across the Intermountain district!

NOTE: This training will be followed by an IMYA strategy summit discussion to include district NYI council mission area (zone) reps and other contributing participants in the district.
